| The
Magma Collection draws inspiration from the Stone Collection,
with its tactile and contrasting qualities. These forms have
a special ‘crackled quality’ given to the surface, adding more
texture as the surface is allowed to break up under stress and
re-melted during the making process. This enables the inner
blue colour of the form to project and shine through the outer
surface of the glass. One of the most challenging of Martin’s
designs to produce.
